Ashill is committed to consultation with the community to ensure that local people are aware of its intentions for the site and have an opportunity to help shape the plans.
Ashill held meetings with neighbouring residents and local stakeholders at an early stage in order to understand their views and to receive their feedback about Ashill’s initial plans for this site.
Following this, Ashill displayed the proposals to the wider community at a consultation event on Tuesday 20th February 2018 at the Furze Platt Memorial Hall. Over 800 homes and businesses closest to the site were invited to attend this event.
Ashill has sent local stakeholders, neighbouring residents and members of the public who engaged in the consultation an update newsletter to ensure they are aware of the final proposals. A copy of the newsletter can be found here.
